Today I had the whole day to spend in Washington DC. I decided to visit a few museums. The National Holocaust Museum had a great impact on me. The images that I saw and the stories that I heard/read were horrific. I’m so glad that I went. We must remember to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves”.
On a lighter note, I was able to meet my friend, Tiffany, for dinner this evening. We had a lovely visit. We shared a walk down the buzzing streets of Alexandria and enjoyed some terrific ice cream. Yum! It was fun to window shop and people watch.
